Artist :: Tattoo Al [Al Garcia] of Persistence Tattoo

Tattoo Al is an incredibly talented artist who has been tattooing since 2000. I spent a few hours in the shop filming the man at work and it was a great experience. Al has been featured in Inked, the popular tattoo culture magazine, and several local publications. He currently works in Persistence Tattoo Shop in Eastlake, Ohio.

In design typography means a lot. It’s more than just the way words and letters are arranged, it’s about what they mean and the massage that they carry. Great typography is about taking attention to detail to the next level, and creating something so perfect, that you’d never know it was there in the first place.

It’s not my goal to make the type stand out, it’s my goal to make the message stand out.

Burn Michigan to the Ground // for Ohio State University 09′ Football Season

This shirt was created for the OSU vs Michigan football game. Sold on campus and online through various outlets, becoming an underground slogan for the Fight Michigan Campaign. This shirt had a limited run of 500 prints.
